July 23th, 2009, TELNET obtains the certification ISO 9001, Version 2008. It is about a renewal of this certification already acquired in 2002. About ISO 9001, Version 2008 The ISO 9001 standard dictates the organizational requirements for the existence of a management of the quality system. As list of requirements, it is used as base to the certification of organism conformity The certification ISO 9001, Version 2008 is the fourth and last edition of the standard published for the first time in 1987. It is about the world reference in term of standards of the quality management systems. It serves to bring the insurance of the capacity to satisfy the quality requirements and to strengthen the satisfaction of the customers.
TELNET started CMMi certification procedures in October 2004 with Indian partners. Today, TELNET is the only certified CMMi level 5 company in Africa and the Middle-East region. This certification offers to TELNET a new position regionally and internationally, and will open, through a Tuniso-Indian partnership, new perspectives in TIC world market and CMMi certification. About CMMi CMMi (Capability maturity model integration) is a quality assurance model based on the best observed practices in software and systems engineering. The CMMi was designed by the SEI (Software Engineering Institute) of Carnegie Mellon University and represents nowadays the most known and prestigious quality standard for high-tech operating companies. In 2006, there are 80 certified companies, 70% of which are based in India.
