Phases
Project preparation:
Beginning meeting includes the participation of both customers and Telnet teams working in agreement on technical analyze for the validation of the interface and the functions and realizing a model as well as the validation of the reception platform. The customer’s final validation constitutes the key point of the launching of the development because it sets up the planning of deliveries of the modules, validation times and the final reception date.
Project development:
This stage, development during the project preparation, follows the planning of the deliveries by modules like their validations. The frequency of the validations makes it possible to regularly control the evolution of application according to the initial specifications. In addition to the validations, the management tools of projects and communication make it possible to regularly know the progress percentages of the various modules, until the next intermediate delivery. The corrections made allow a final delivery opening over the period known as the «project Validation".
Project validation:
The final validation takes all the functions to confirm the corrections carried out in the development phase. Then it opens the period of the Correct Operation Aptitude Validation (COAV). Its duration, variable according to the size of the project (2 weeks to 6 months), is defined in the contract. For this period, any anomaly raised and indicated via the management tools of the incidents is rectified, without over cost. At the end of this period, the final reception is declared. It marks the project end and does not give any more right to modification or complaint, except if this contract contains a period of guarantee.
Post project:
According to the contracts, the project can end in a phase of guarantee which allows, exit of the period of COAV and the delivery of final reception, to profit one additional period of corrections/adjustments which functions like COAV. Otherwise, to ensure the long duration of its investment, our customer can contract a maintenance application, which guarantees the compatibility of its application with the software evolutions of the target platform. This maintenance contract makes it possible moreover to guarantee intervention deadlines in case of an application incident. Finally and especially, the maintenance contract forces Telnet to preserve competences related to the customer project, which allows considering possible evolutions in peace of mind.
