The "CAREBOX" gets the label of the Competitiveness cluster Systematic Paris Region
Two years of work allowed Telnet Consulting team to label their project "CAREBOX" designed and developed as part of their research & development activity within the cluster Systematic Paris Region. From the board of the Systematic Paris Region cluster – competitiveness cluster with worldwide vocation where Telnet Consulting is a member of the thematic groups "Automotive & Transportation" and "Telecom" - the label obtained by the "CAREBOX" on November 24th, 2011, is very significant and it attests to the quality of the project acquired following its successful passage through a rigorous process of maturation and selection. This process required several hearings and revisions of the project using the referential instances of the cluster. Indeed, the project proponent, Telnet Consulting and Consortium members were interviewed in turn by the steering committee of the working group “Telecoms” and the revised project proposal thoroughly examined by the Executive Board of the pole. About the project, it is a platform for home medical supervision via an environment materialized by a box called "CAREBOX". Technically, the "CAREBOX" will provide a platform for medical supervision in being connected to an ADSL box, this set will be connected via a Zigbee Mesh network to an ambulatory portable terminal, light and autonomous equipment by the patient. More easily, the "CAREBOX" provides to the seniors or patients suffering from pathologies including heart disease, or those recovering post-clinic, a close medical supervision, allowing them to stay home and benefit, if necessary, from remote healthcare more responsive in case of emergency. In this project, Telnet Consulting has used his skills on both hardware and software including electronics, microelectronics and mechanics design, the next phase will be the prototyping and industrialization. In perspective, this project will be accompanied and boosted by a global concept already developed by Telnet, the "homeBox." "CAREBOX" will therefore be a prototype that will be a part of a unified project combining multiple applications and uses of the technologies built around the smart home.
