Participation probante de Telnet Holding au ITU TELECOM WORLD 2011

Valuable participation of TELNET HOLDING at the ITU TELECOM WORLD 2011 in Geneva from October 24th to 27th, 2011

 

 

Geneva, October 24th to 27th, 2011, TELNET HOLDING presented its knowledge product through its innovative concept of “homeBox” to officials and participants at the ITU Telecom World 2011 fair, about the theme of "Smart Living". The innovative concept of TELNET HOLDING has received the interest of leaders and personalities who have closely followed demonstrations of the "homeBox" on the Telnet booth, through various application opportunities offered especially in the medical field for patients monitoring and in the area of energy management through various meters at home (electric, gas, water) and in the field of home automation. The "homeBox" also allows use through the "Cloud-Computing" several services related to "E-Government", "E-Health" and "E-Education".

 

The TELNET booth, who also represented the Tunisian pavilion this year, has received prestigious visits of leaders and ministers from various Arab and African countries including:

 

HE Mr. Moussa Benhamadi, Algerian Minister of ICT,

HE Dr. Yahia Abdallah Mohamed, Sudanese Minister of ICT,

S. E. Mrs. Hon Patricia Kaliati, Malawi Minister of Information and Civic Education,

HE Mr. Reza Taghipour, Iranian Minister of ICT,

HE Mr. Omar Alkurdi, Jordanian Minister of New Technologies,

HE Mr. bin Salim Al Futaisi Ahmed bin Mohammed, Minister of Transport and Communications of the Sultanate of Oman.

 

The TELNET stand was also honored by the visit of HE Dr. Hamadoun Toure, Secretary General of the ITU and Mrs. Khadija GHARIANI, Secretary General of the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization AICTO. During this visit, Dr. TOURE and Mrs. GHARIANI expressed their admiration for the important technological progress achieved by TELNET since their last visit in 2008 and they also presented their encouragement and support to TELNET as a model of success and innovation in technology in Africa and Middle East region.
