Official ceremony of the first listing of Telnet Holding on the first Market Exchange
Certainly, the introduction of Telnet Holding on Stock Market is historic in more than one way: the first company in the ICT sector, the first business after the revolution and finally became this Monday, May 23rd, 2011, the first company to formalize its first listing in the brand new headquarters of the Tunis Stock Exchange (BVMT). Indeed, for the first time in Tunisia the bell rang, officially announcing the first listing of Telnet Holding. This symbolic act was done by Mr. Jalloul Ayed, Minister of Finance and Mr. Mohamed Frikha, CEO of Telnet Holding. This quotation is one of the main triggers of the effective relaunch of the Tunisian economy. This quotation has been warmly welcomed by the Minister of Finance, who praised the courage and selflessness of Telnet Holding officials and teams who have worked for its success. The ceremony, which was introduced by Mr. Fadhel Abdelkefi, President of BVMT and Mr. Mohamed Bechiou, general manager, recorded the presence of eminent personalities from the world of finance in Tunisia, including Mr. Jamel Belhaj, Chief of Staff for the Minister of Finance, Mr. Adel Grar president of the AIB (Association of the brokers), Mr Youssef Kortbi (AFC) and Mr. Ferid Ben Brahim (AXIS).
